Scully Learning Center Rides in Style at the Cave Creek Rodeo Days Parade
April 22, 2025
Scully Learning Center Foundation was proud to join the excitement of the Cave Creek Rodeo Days Parade this year with a float that truly touched hearts and turned heads. Decked out in colorful western flair and powered by community spirit, our parade float shined a spotlight on something very close to our hearts—Preserving Families Home, a vision for supportive, lifelong housing for adults with disabilities.
The crowd cheered as our float rolled down the streets of Cave Creek, bringing awareness to the need for permanent, inclusive living spaces for individuals with developmental disabilities. The float’s design represented more than just creative craftsmanship—it symbolized the kind of warm, welcoming environment Preserving Families Home seeks to provide: one filled with safety, support, and love.
Participants waved proudly from the float, many of them wearing cowboy hats and western-themed gear, representing the unity, growth, and joy that our programs inspire. It was a powerful reminder of how important it is to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, no matter their abilities.
Thank you to all the volunteers, supporters, and parade organizers who helped make this moment possible. And a special thank-you to the Cave Creek community for embracing our mission and celebrating our future alongside us.
